Originally from Southern California, Allison Schuster is a graduate of Orange County School of the Arts and holds a BFA from The Juilliard School, under the direction of Lawrence Rhodes. Her performance career includes works by some of the most influential choreographers of our time, including Ohad Naharin, Nacho Duato, Twyla Tharp, Mark Morris, Martha Graham, Lar Lubovitch, Matthew Neenan, Nicolo Fonte, and Aszure Barton.

Throughout her career, Allison has collaborated with a wide range of internationally recognized companies and creative teams. She was an original cast member, dancer, aerialist, and dance captain for Viva Elvis by Cirque du Soleil, directed by Vincent Paterson with choreography by Napoleon and Tabitha D'umo. She served for six years as rehearsal director and principal dancer/ aerialist with Company XIV under the artistic direction of Austin McCormick.

In addition, Allison was dance assistant to Mia Michaels while performing in New York Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall. She was a longtime company member with the The Metropolitan Opera, a guest artist with Keigwin + Company, and has contributed as a creative assistant on projects for Sonya Tayeh, Cherice Barton, and Andy Blankenbuehler.

Her television credits include Alternatino with Arturo Castro on Comedy Central, as well as commercial work for IBM and VH1. She has also appeared as a guest performer on So You Think You Can Dance, Dancing with the Stars, Strictly Come Dancing, and Primetime Emmy Awards.

Now based in Dallas, she serves as Artistic Associate and Rehearsal Director for Pegasus Contemporary Ballet, where she continues to mentor emerging artists and help shape the next generation of contemporary dance.
