Originally from Southern California, Allison Schuster is a performer, choreographer, teacher, and artistic director. She graduated from Orange County School of the Arts and then went on to receive her BFA from The Juilliard School. There, she had the opportunity to perform works by choreographers such as Ohad Naharin, Nacho Duato, Twyla Tharp, Mark Morris, and Martha Graham.

Allison has had the privilege to work on many shows including being an original cast member for Cirque Du Soleil’s VIVA Elvis, under the direction of Vincent Patterson with choreography from Napoleon and Tabitha Dumo. There, she served as the dance captain, dancer, and aerialist. She had the opportunity to be the rehearsal director, creator, and perform for Brooklyn-based Company XIV for six years, under the direction of Austin McCormick. Allison was also the dance assistant to Mia Michaels while creating and performing in New York Spectacular starring The Radio City Rockettes. She has also performed in many productions at The Metropolitan Opera, has been a guest performer multiple times with Keigwin And Company, and has assisted on numerous creative projects for Sonya Tayeh, Cherice Barton, and Andy Blankenbuehler.

Allison’s TV credits include Comedy Central’s Alternatino and commercials for IBM and VH1. She can also be seen guest performing on So You Think You Can Dance, Dancing With The Stars, Strictly Come Dancing, The Emmy Awards, and more.

Allison is the Co-Founder and Co-Artistic Director of SchuWurks Productions and is a sought-after teacher, choreographer, and adjudicator nationwide.
